More About HTML

To see a copy of the file that your browser reads to produce what you see on your monitor, select View Source from the browser menu. All of the file contents, with all the HTML tags, are displayed. This can be used as a teaching tool to help you learn more about the constructs of HTML. You can also save a source file with the HTML codes and use it as a template and modify it for your own use.

A good book on the subject is "Using HTML", by Mark Brown, John Jung, and Tom Savola, published by Que in 1996. There are many books written on the subject including the new HTML 3.0 standards.
